By fishing the garage door hook through the weather seal at the top of a garage door you are able to snag and engage the safety pull cord inside the garage.
When the safety pull cord is engaged the motor is released from the track and the garage door can be rolled up.

With a wide goose neck and deep cord lock the Garage Door Tool will grab and secure T- Handle and Ball Handle Safety pull cords.

The natural fall of the tool is designed to also work with low ceiling garages letting the tool arch over the door and into the garage without hitting the ceiling.
