Terms of Warranty

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failure or damage. Also, you are entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.

Warranty period

Durashell key housings	24 months
Genuine remote handsets	12 months *
Compatible remote handsets	12 months
Key housings	12 months
Door hardware & security	12 months *
Devices and machines	6 months *

* Warranty covers manufacturer faults only

 

Warranty exclusions

Goods that have been altered, damaged, or tampered with by the customer, or have experienced changes in conditional or operational quality due to incorrect storage or mounting, will not be covered by any warranty.

Warranty does not apply to batteries.

Warranty does not cover normal and scheduled maintenance. 

 

How to make a warranty claim

If any product fails within the warranty period as a result of a manufacturing, material fault or defect, the customer should contact The Key Guys with the Warranty Claim Form via email as soon as possible.
